Sailing Club

"At Carlingford Sailing Club we have a fabulous Bar and Restaurant. Our hospitality is second to none. The Bar is very well stocked with a wide variety of beverages to cater for all needs. We also have complimentary Wi-Fi and a big screen TV. We have a large meeting/function/event room with conference equipment. We can comfortably cater for 90 at weddings, although we often cater for more. In the bar area a real fire is always light on cold evenings. In fine weather you can ramble out onto the patio area or grass bank and at any time be only a couple of meters from the water’s edge. We also have a roof top terrace with breath-taking views of the Lough with the mountains of Mourne to your right and Slieve Foy to your left.

Leprechaun & Fairy Cavern

"This is an underground Leprechaun and Fairy cavern which is linked by two tunnels. One runs under Carlingford and exits into the home of the 236 Last Leprechauns of Ireland below the Slate Rock on Foy Mountain Carlingford. The other runs under Carlingford Lough and exits at the Fairy Glen in Rostrevor.It is also the home of the tooth fairy.

Entry to the cavern and the story of the survival of the 236 is relayed to you by the last Leprechaun Whisperer in Ireland, Kevin Woods, or in his absence a member of his extended family Entry is €3.50 per adult accompanied with a child and €7per child which includes a leprechaun. Adults without children €5.
